One IT Solutions Services is excited to offer a Network Engineer Apprenticeship that provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while earning a qualification The clientconsiders themselves to be one of the friendliest, most personable technology service companies in the North East.They work with awide variety of clients ranging from 1 users to over a 1000 users across multiple sites spread around the world, a majority of their clients are in the North East however, they now supply IT support to clients globally, with users in India, Kenya, Singapore, Bangladesh,Tanzania and further afield.They have a wealth of experience with working with apprentices in the past to develop and progress them, there is no better place to kick-start your career As a Network Engineer apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, managing IT infrastructure, installing/upgrading hardware and so much more to enhance your skills and reach your true potential In this role, youll work towards your Level 4 Network Engineer qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues both onsite and remotely Management of IT infrastructure, including AV and telephony equipment Installing, upgrading, and repairing hardware both onsite and in our fully equipped workshop Assisting in project work Responding to support requests via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner Other duties as assigned by management Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary, Hours & Benefits: Salary - £14,000 - £20,000 Depending on Experience Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM (Rare occasions 8 AM - 4 PM) 32 days annual leave, increasing with length of service Training / Industry recognised certifications Social Company Events Opportunities to progress my career Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge: Highly self-motivated and customer focussed, with excellent communication skills Basic Windows Desktop troubleshooting The right mindset to understand how a whole site connects together Further knowledge, skills and experience of benefit Windows Server experience Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, primarily Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams Networking knowledge Routers, Switches, NAT, etc A full driving license as well as your own car / van Grade 4/C in Maths and English GCSE Your Training with Baltic: This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective Network Engineer.
