          Your day-to-day work will include:

          What hours does a Carpenter typically do?

          You will usually work in the region of 39-45 hours a week. Most roles will distribute these hours across the weekday period, although some jobs may require working in the evenings or on weekends.

          This varies depending on the role but could include private houses, bars, shop floors, construction sites, warehouses and workshops.

          How much does a Carpenter get paid?

          Salaries start around £16,000 per annum but can grow with experience to as much as £40,000.

          What qualifications does a Carpenter need?

          You will need technical and practical skills more than academic education, however an understanding of basic mathematics will help in designing furniture and other wooden structures, as will qualifications in design and technology.
