Air operations, you can work as a pilot and weapons systems officer, where you will take part in flying sorties, reconnaissance, and search and rescue duties

A starting salary after training will be around £26,000. With experience, and depending on ranking, you can earn up between £31,000 and £34,000. Once you are highly experienced, you can earn up between £47,000 (flight lieutenant) and £105,250 (air commodore).

What qualifications does a RAF officer need?

The education requirements for this job are the minimum of 5 GCSE's at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) and 2 A-levels. Plus, you will need to be aged 17.5 years old and over and a national of the UK or Ireland. You will need a degree for some roles in the RAF.
