The Hospital is based in Kingston upon Thames, a bustling riverside town on the borders of London and Surrey. Kingston offers a wide variety of bars, cafes, restaurants and clubs and shopping to rival central London. Richmond Park is just a 15 minute walk from the Hospital and the Hospital is well served by public transport, with Norbiton Station on the doorstep. This allows you to jump on a train and arrive in central London, 12 miles away, in less than 30 minutes. Kingston Hospital's experienced and friendly staff provide a supportive culture where there is the potential to forge a great career in nursing. The Gynae & Breast services have recently been re-configured to create a new 'womens' Service which delivers a full spectrum of activity, from Out-Patient Clinics through to Elective and emergency admissions. Isabella Ward, which has recently moved into a refurbished ward to allow the co-location of gynae and breast patients, currently comprises 16 beds, a Day Bay, hysteroscopy suite and an emergency gynae unit. It is a busy, friendly unit that provides high quality care for women with a range of gynae, breast and early pregnancy conditions.
