At Norfolk Community Health and Care, our focus is on continually improving the quality of care we offer to local people and on improving access to that care, helping people to move seamlessly from one service to another.
We serve a population of 882,000 people, in and around Norfolk, making us one of the largest providers of community health and care services in the NHS. Our aim is to constantly improve our patients' lives by providing you with the best care, close to where you live.
Our Experience / Expertise:
Our specialist teams provide personalised health and care services to our patients from more than 70 different services across Norfolk for everyone, from babies to the elderly.
We believe that you are better served within your own community. This belief means we work hard to bring our expert care to you, close to where you live and work, in our community hospitals, within GP surgeries and even in your own home.

Career Opportunities & Training:
There are a variety of Apprenticeship opportunities available within Healthcare and Administration. Our Apprentices earn a wage whilst working towards an Intermediate Level NVQ - a nationally recognised qualification over a 12 month period.
Over 70% of Apprentices who have worked for our Trust have found full time roles within our organisation and many others find permanent roles with other Health Care providers locally. Apprentices who find work within our organisation will have the opportunity to gain further nationally recognised qualifications.
The qualification is fully funded and so our Apprentices will not have to pay anything towards it.
Our Team/Staff:
We employ 2,693 full-time equivalent members of staff. 80% of these are healthcare professionals, such as doctors, dentists, nurses and physiotherapists.
Many others are people you will meet or speak to over the phone from the administrative assistant who arranges your appointment, to the receptionist who greets you when you arrive at our clinics or community hospitals. Other staff work behind the scenes, maintaining our wards and clinics, ensuring our services are of the highest and safest standards, or making sure NHS money is well-spent on the best healthcare for our communities.
At NCH&C we take our responsibility to our local communities very seriously. We are dedicated to improving patients' lives by providing excellent standards of NHS health and care.
