We recognize that university route is not suited for every young individual and that the employability of young people today represents a real challenge for society and economy, which is why we offer apprenticeship placements as a real alternative to a university life and encourage school leavers to consider a career in the financial services industry.
We appreciate the energy and ideas which new young talent brings to our business and we look to inspire, educate and engage school leavers who are thinking about starting early professional careers.
The Programme offers a highly structured training with first-class experience a variety of business roles and it arms young people with the qualifications, knowledge and life skills needed to embark on a successful career in whichever field they choose.

PRUDENTIAL'S RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Application: Completing an application form and uploading your CV
Telephone interview: You'll have a half hour telephone based interview based around your strengths, skills and competencies*
*For some accountancy and finance roles you will be asked to complete an online numerical reasoning test of 20 minutes.
A video interview: A one-way online recorded Strengths based interview. You'll be provided with a link containing instructions for completing this at the time. You'll be provided a question, a small amount of preparation time and time to answer the question before moving onto the next.
Assessment Centre Day: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to our local office in Reading or Stirling to undergo the final strengths based interview with the hiring Manager, a group based exercise and for some roles an in-tray or a case study exercise. This will be confirmed prior to your Assessment Centre date
Work strength assessment: You will be invited to complete a 20 minute online questionnaire which identifies your potential strengths against the successful behaviours and competencies required for the apprentice role. You will be provided with a short report showing your strengths, including the environments that are likely to enhance or hinder your performance.
