Role Overview As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects across their product suite, gaining exposure to multiple programming languages and technologies. Key Technologies Front-end Development: PHP, JavaScript with jQuery Voicemail Product (Maintenance mode): Java, SQL, VXML Payment and SMSC Products: C, SQL Responsibilities as a Graduate Software Engineer Contribute to the development and maintenance of a diverse product portfolio Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions Participate in code reviews and implement best practices in software development Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Strong foundation in object-oriented programming concepts Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Basic understanding of database systems and SQL Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies Work Arrangement Hybrid role: minimum 1 day per week in our Manchester office - or more if you prefer Flexible working hours to promote work-life balance Why apply?
