What is gradunique?
'gradunique' is a truly unique Graduate programme, that brings together two of the UK's leading charities to deliver one graduate development programme.
The British Heart Foundation and Macmillan Cancer Support have come together in partnership to deliver a two year graduate development programme across both charities.
It's simple but unique
You'll benefit from a jointly delivered development programme designed by Macmillan Cancer Support and the British Heart Foundation. Uniquely, you'll get to work for both charities, doubling your experience and exposure to the sector.
About you
We're seeking four outstanding, talented and ambitious recent graduates to join us for this fantastic partnership. We want graduates who are passionate about working to support people and make a difference. We want graduates who are excited by the prospect of making a real impact on others' lives. You'll need to be accountable from day one, and hungry to learn from those around you.
In the UK today: 2.5 million people are living with cancer. 7 million people are living with cardiovascular disease. Do you want to work in a world where what you do supports the people affected and helps drive ground breaking research?

You'll work on a variety of hands-on projects and enjoy real responsibility. Every day will be a learning experience that challenges you.
You'll gain new skills and knowledge about business trends and issues by liaising directly with experts in the charity sector. You'll benefit from a wealth of networking opportunities, which will help you make valuable contacts for your future career.
What you will do
Over the two years you'll complete two 12 month placements: one in Macmillan Cancer Support and one in The British Heart Foundation.
You will work in a variety of teams across each Charity. These could include areas such as Policy, Public Affairs, Fundraising, and Marketing. The work will be varied. You'll be assigned a range of short and long term projects, taking ownership on some, supporting on others.
Throughout your time with both the charities, you'll be fully supported, with a clear development programme. All the work you do will have real applications for the charities, so you can be confident that your contribution will be making a real difference.
