How about joining an inspiring and innovative workplace, filled with exceptional and dedicated professionals, all of whom are 100% focused on one key goal: to accelerate progress and see 3 in 4 people survive cancer within the next 20 years.
As a Cancer Research UK graduate you will be joining one of the best schemes available in the UK - currently ranked No. 2 on Guardian 300 best places for graduates to work. What we do We fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner. We also provide information about cancer to the public. In the 1970s, less than a quarter of people with cancer survived. But over the last 40 years, survival has doubled – today half will survive. Our ambition is to accelerate progress and see three-quarters of people surviving cancer within the next 20 years. To achieve that, we need the generosity of the fundraising public to continue, but we also need outstanding graduates to fill key roles to take our organisation forward. What makes our graduate scheme so special? Cancer Research UK offers graduates a unique opportunity to join our graduate trainee scheme and help us beat cancer sooner. More than 90 trainees have completed the scheme since 2000. Many of the cohort are still with the charity; having since grown their careers into senior roles all across the organisation.
Be Brave. Be Sharp. Be United.
Those three beliefs help shape the way we work. We are looking for applicants with the intelligence, maturity and interpersonal skills to quickly adapt in our fast moving environment. We will beat cancer sooner, and if your application is successful, you will be joining our fight.
