English Literature Graduate - Secondary School / Cover supervisor Location: Southwark/Lambeth Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience Job Type: Full-time We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable English Literature Graduate to join an Excellent-rated Secondary School. We are seeking Graduates to work with us or have ambitions to teach in the future. For a full time Academic year as a Secondary School cover supervisor from September 2023. Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality lessons and inspiring students with your passion for English Literature Developing schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the National Curriculum Assessing, tracking and monitoring students' progress Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students Engaging with parents, carers and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for students Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school eventsRequirements: A degree in English Literature (minimum 2:2) UK Teaching qualification (or in the process of obtaining one) (not essential) Passion for English Literature and the ability to inspire students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptabilityExperience of working in a school environment would be an advantage, but not essential.
