Energus work with the NDA and employers in the Nuclear Industry to develop the workforce of tomorrow. We manage Training and Development Programmes at various levels including Apprenticeships, higher level learning and graduate programmes. nucleargraduates is a unique two year graduate development programme for young professionals in the nuclear industry. Established by the NDA in 2008 the programme is now managed by Energus and sponsored by 12 organisations. Sponsors play a key role in attraction, selection and recruitment of graduates. The training and CSR programme sets us aside from other graduate schemes.
The Programme was Highly Commended in the Collaboration award at the NDA Supply Chain Events and on the same day was Highly Commended in the IChemE global awards in the training and development category.
Energus is the North West flagship delivery centre for the National Skills Academy for Nuclear. A dedicated centre of excellence offering a range of training, education and business support services geared to providing and enhancing skills within both the local and national nuclear workforce.
We work closely with the NDA estate and Nuclear Supply Chain organisations to provide budding new young professionals, who are keen to develop their career prospects both locally and nationally.
We ensure that all graduates have the skills and knowledge available to seamlessly integrate into careers in the nuclear industry. All graduates undertake a robust training program and regular rotation throughout the estate to ensure diverse exposure to industry.
One of the advantages that sets us a cut above the rest, is that we actively work with our graduates. We have listened to their career aspirations and successfully steered and opened doors to ensure they are on their way to successfully achieving their L6 qualification whether this be in IT, Project Management, Business, Engineering or a Science related discipline.
