          Southampton has a detailed Bus network running both within and outside the city. There are also night buses available on some routes.

          The city has its own Southampton Airport, which is easily accessible by train, car and coach and provides the city with international links. The train ride is a short 7 minutes from Southampton Central, by car from the city centre it takes around 17 minutes, and by bus 40 minutes from the Central Station Bus Stop.

          Southampton has two rail stations, Southampton Central and Southampton Airport Parkway. Both stations provide links on a National scale and are operated mainly by South Western rail. Other services inluse CrossCountry, Great Western Railway, and Southern (which provides links to Gatwick Airport).

          Southampton prides itself as a bike-friendly city with allocated cycle lanes and National Cycle Network Routes.

          Southampton is a city immersed in both historic architecture, such as the Southampton Town Walls, as well as beautiful countryside.
