          Nightlife

From familiar chains to quirky gems to specialist, tailored bars, Swansea nightlife is diverse and full of options.

Fiction is particularly popular, proudly promoting themselves online as ‘Cardiff's only Superclub'. Hosting regular resident DJs, the club focuses on good music and great atmosphere, and there is disabled access to all three of their club rooms.

Or, for something a bit different, the No Sign Wine Bar dates back to 1690, located in a Grade II listed building. The name refers to its history of not having a sign to identify its alcohol licence when it was a legal requirement for public houses to do so - this was because it was a bar rather than a public house, and the name has continued to stick.

          Notable Attractions

As well as Swansea Bay which draws people in with its expansive, idyllic views, the National Waterfront Museum is a major attraction in the city. It's free entry, focusing on the history of Wales' role in the Industrial Revolution. Also considering Swansea's maritime heritage, the museum displays interactive technology alongside objects from its industrial, maritime and mining histories.

For further history, you can visit Swansea Museum or the castle, or alternatively the city's range of parks and beaches are ideal for quiet days out.
