          Worcestershire is currently undergoing major infrastructure and improvement schemes so both road travel and public transport are set to improve a lot in the next few years. Worcester Shrub hill has direct trains to London roughly every hour that take around two and a half hours. Worcester Foregate Street Station has trains every hour to Birmingham, with some taking as little as 45 minutes.

          Renting a one bedroom property in Worcestershire costs a respectable average of £516 per calendar month, rising to £656 pcm for a two bedroom. If you want to be renting in the main city of Worcester this increases only slightly to £534 pcm average for a one bed and £706 pcm for a two. If you're looking for a bit more hustle and bustle it's definitely worth paying the extra to be close to the city.

          In the city you will find a thriving live music scene, it's not got the same call list as Manchester might but Marr's Bar and Drummonds play host to excellent live bands with reasonable entry prices to boot. If you're all rocked out and fancy something a bit more relaxed there's a plethora of local independent restaurants and bars.

          Notable Attractions

          If you're a fan of architecture this is the city for you. The Gothic Cathedral, The Guildhall and The Commandery are just the start of the architectural gems that are on offer, and Friar Street will always provide Instagram-worthy pictures. Bookworms will find their own personal slice of heaven in The Hive which is on par with the capital's expansive libraries.
