The Mountbatten Institute is a not-for-profit organization that administers paid, one-year internship programmes in New York for enthusiastic and skilled young graduates. The mission of the Mountbatten Internship Programme is to foster international and cross cultural understanding through experiential education, practical training and residence abroad and to provide opportunities for personal growth and professional development.Since 1984, the Mountbatten Internship Programme has provided hundreds of university graduates with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the high-powered business environment of New York City - giving them a chance to expand their horizons, perspectives, and friendships.In terms of the work placement, Mountbatten interns are placed with one of our many premier Sponsor Companies ranging from multinational giants (JP Morgan Chase, Citi, American Express, Royal Bank of Scotland) through non-profit/ non-commercial entities (British American Business Inc., Big Apple Circus, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation) right down to small companies including sole proprietorships.
