We’re always on the lookout for great Team Members and Managers (80% of our Managers started as Team Members). It’s a demanding role, but if you’re passionate about food and people, and work well under pressure, it could be the job for you.
We offer training and support to help you develop the skills you need to succeed, along with opportunities to progress into more challenging roles. We run lots of courses at the Pret Academy in Central London and across the UK, and whilst they won’t all teach you how to make sandwiches, they’ll help you make a great start in your career with Pret.
The Pret Apprenticeship offers in-depth training, career progression and qualifications. It's about building confidence, gaining life skills and being part of a team.

The Rising Stars programme - If someone doesn't have a fixed address, it’s very difficult to get a bank account, and if you don’t have a bank account, it’s very difficult to get a job. If someone has been in prison and has a criminal record, it exaggerates the problem. It is a cruel catch-22 situation.
In an effort to help break this cycle, we set up the Rising Stars programme. We work with Rising Stars who have lived on the streets or have a criminal record – people who are finding it hard, for whatever reason, to catch a break. We let them start with a clean slate.
