Job Title: Graduate Electrical Design Engineer Location: Hertfordshire Salary: £22k - £26k A building services design consultancy is seeking a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding office in Hertfordshire. With over 20 years of successful trading, this well-established company has a strong reputation for developing engineers. They employ approximately 20-25 staff and offer a supportive structure that balances responsibility with ample guidance for engineers. The company handles a wide range of projects, including those in the pharmaceutical, residential, retail, leisure, and office sectors, with project values ranging from £1 million to £45 million. This role provides diverse experience, helping you become a well-rounded engineer without being confined to a specific area of expertise. Requirements for the Graduate Electrical Design Engineer: Relevant degree, such as Electrical and Electronic Engineering (preferably with an electrical bias) Understanding of building services design engineering Proficiency in CAD software, with desirable experience in Dialux, Relux, or Amtech Ideally a graduate member of an appropriate institution, with ambitions to work towards Chartered Engineer status Strong communication and teamwork skills Local to the office with a Full UK Driver’s License preferred Enthusiastic graduates can expect to manage their own projects within a couple of years, gaining the experience needed to progress towards Chartership.
