Psychology Graduate – SEND Teaching Assistant – Fulham – Immediate Start Are you a Psychology Graduate passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? A welcoming Primary School in Fulham is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychology Graduate looking to gain hands-on experience and make a real difference in the lives of young students with additional needs. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEND, helping them to access the curriculum and engage in learning. Assisting teachers in delivering tailored lessons and interventions, promoting academic and personal development. Supporting students with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation to enhance their school experience. Collaborating with the SENCO and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student’s individual needs. Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. The ideal candidate will have: A degree in Psychology or a related field, with a strong interest in working with children with SEND. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and development.
