The UK's Universal Postal Service Provider Royal Mail is a household name in the United Kingdom, originally established in 1516. We support customers, businesses and communities around the country, and we are the only company delivering a 'one-price-goes-anywhere', six days a week service to more than 29 million addresses across the country. The company's subsidiary, Royal Mail Group Limited, operates the brands Royal Mail (for letters) and Parcelforce Worldwide (parcels). Also, General Logistics Systems, our European parcels business, operates one of the largest parcel delivery networks in Europe.
The graduate offering Each of our graduate programmes is carefully structured to prepare you for a challenging but rewarding career at Royal Mail, and all of our graduates are given the autonomy to make an impact from day one. You'll enjoy a launch week where you get to meet the people you will be working with, then you'll spend time shadowing roles understand to give you a working business insight. The programmes range from two to three-and-a-half years depending on which business area you join. All programmes include managed rotations to ensure you gain a broad range of experience before moving into a permanent role.
We answer a range of common questions here. For graduates who want to keep the mail moving, there's our operations management programme. Here you'll learn on the job in one of our mail centres or delivery offices nationwide and lead a team of between 15 and 100 people from day one.
