Solihull Community Housing is the name of the Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO) set up in April 2004 to run the housing service on behalf of Solihull Council.
The Council still owns the properties and is the landlord. But housing services are delivered by us.
We are run by a management board made up of five tenants, five councillors and five independent people chosen for their specialist skills and experience. Board members are not paid for their services.
We have recently started an ambitious programme of service improvement, as outlined by our chief executive, Matt Cooney.
