Graduate Electronics Engineer Perfect first role for a graduate in Electronics Engineering Southampton based, on-site full time, no remote working available Up to £35,000 per annum benefits Small tech company providing specialist sensors and technology to the water industry Spectrum IT are partnered with a SME designer and manufacturer of high-quality PCBs and sensors for the UKs water network. Their mission is to improve fault detection and quality monitoring through innovative sensors and components that allowed informed decision making through higher quality data. As the business continues to grow and build out their R&D capabilities, they need graduate electronics engineer to join a small team. You will be working to progress our hardware products with an emphasis on low power electronics, high sensitivity analogue electronics. This will entail both developing new products and improving the existing product range, as well as establishing good design and test practices. Must have skills/experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics/electrical engineering (2:1 or above) Experience of circuit & multilayer PCB design Ability to interpret & fault find schematics Good understanding of operational amplifier circuitry Good understanding of designing low power electronics Understanding of analogue electronics Understanding of designing PCBs with EMC Keen interest in electronics/manufacturing Fault finding electronics, sensors, and embedded softwareBeneficial skills/experience: Some experience with technical writing and documentation Interest/experience in mechanical design Interest/experience in embedded software PCB layout including BGA components Any experience with IOT or telecoms components Any knowledge of RF antenna PCB layout best practice Good soldering capabilityTo apply or hear more please contact (url removed) or call (phone number removed) Please note candidates must be UK based, within the local area & able to work without visa sponsorship.
