Five Fundamental Rules
At The Carphone Warehouse everything we do is based on our 'five fundamental rules'. The rules speak for themselves and need little embellishment. However, it is worth stressing that the rules are applied not just in our stores, but in our call centres and support functions too, to ensure that we provide the best possible customer experience.
Indeed, customers frequently comment on the professionalism, commitment and enthusiasm of our people. Each and every one of us at CPW is passionate about what we do and take pride in our work - and that's true whether we're advising a customer face to face or performing an equally valuable role away from the public eye.
We have developed an inclusive culture. We have an open door policy, feedback is encouraged and people are kept in the loop through a whole host internal communications. This means our people feel involved and have a greater sense of job satisfaction, as well as enjoying all the financial benefits of being part of a successful business.
We want all our people to enjoy working at CPW and use the company as an extension of their social lives. Mobile phones should be a fun business - and we work hard to ensure it is.
Social activities are regular and varied, reinforcing the family atmosphere that exists at CPW. Parties, 'Beer Busts', family days out and an annual ball are a feature of life here. We have our own Events Club, which gives our people the chance to experience all kinds of cultural, social and sporting activities in a spirit of competition and friendship - everything from paint-balling, go-karting and football tournaments to concert and theatre trips.
