The Professional Fundraiser is a face-to-face donor recruitment agency, specialising in door-to-door fundraising. Working solely for the benefit of Cats Protection, the UK's leading feline welfare charity. It is our aim to recruit new donor's for the Charity that are keen to pledge their financial support on a regular basis and for many years to come. Established only recently in the summer of 2011, we are quickly developing a reputation for quality and ethical service, an ethos that is underpinned by our company mission statement: To create life time value and to deliver an unrivalled passion for the charities that we represent; as The Professional Fundraiser, we aim to provide the most ethical approach to the charity; to be a top employer, always supportive of our team; to ensure the highest degree of professionalism towards the public, and to reduce our impact on the environment in everything we do. We believe that the art to recruiting genuine donors and lasting support for the Charity is simply in a non-pressurising and sensitive fundraising approach. For this reason we encourage our fundraisers to have non-scripted conversations with the people they meet, equipping our fundraisers with the knowledge they require in order to provide helpful advice and responsive actions. Our Charity: Cats Protection From humble beginnings in 1927, Cats Protection has grown to become the UK's leading feline welfare charity now helping more than 230,000 cats and kittens every year through their network of over 250 volunteer-run branches, 29 adoption centres and rehoming centre.
The Charity also provide an array of cat care information, promote the benefits of neutering to prevent unwanted litters from being born and becoming the abandoned cats of tomorrow, and seek to educate people of all ages about cats and their care. Why work for us
The Professional Fundraiser is one, if not the only agency, employing fundraisers on a full time basis of 36 hours per week (six days at six hours per day) and offers a basic weekly wage of £234, plus bonuses for performance above our weekly minimum performance level.
