Career Opportunities & Training:
As an Apprentice Software Engineer you will receive extensive tutoring at our IT training facility, The Centre of Excellence. Here, you will work towards a Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Practice along with a range of industry recognised qualifications including Microsoft certifications.
You’ll work alongside our experienced developers, gaining practical skills that will enable you to become a skilled Software Engineer yourself. Writing code, testing it and providing support for it once it is released, you will experience the full cycle of software development.
At the end of the apprenticeship, all successful apprentices will be considered for a permanent role as a Software Engineer at Web Applications UK.
Our Team:
Our team are one bigWebbie family and you’ll receive a warm welcome from us all. There are plenty of social activities you can get involved in, from sports to board games and meals to nights out. We hold regular events, which in the past have included paintballing, The Comedy Store and a day at Alton Towers.
Location:
Based in the heart of Oldham, we are two minutes’ walk from the Oldham Mumps Metrolink station. Excellent public transport links with many buses stopping nearby and easily accessible by car with a free car park onsite.
Benefits:
Our apprentices will be paid £150 per week and will be able to take advantage of our extensive benefits package.
